Unlock unprecedented savings potential and embrace environmental stewardship with our new RCx Program.
What is the RCx Program?
Our Retrocommissioning (RCx) Program offers tailored energy solutions for commercial and industrial facilities aiming to substantially decrease energy expenses. RCx is a systematic process that identifies and implements cost-effective operational and maintenance enhancements in existing buildings. By enhancing system performance and reducing energy usage, RCx ensures sustained efficiency while optimizing building functionality and boosting occupant comfort.
What does the program offer?
Under our program, a Technical Service Provider, selected by you from our vetted list, conducts a thorough retrocommissioning study of your site. Energy-saving strategies are identified and implemented, followed by monitoring and verification (M&V) to track achieved savings. Upon successful completion, participants receive incentives and a comprehensive summary report.
Who can benefit?
Our program caters to a diverse range of facilities, including manufacturing plants, healthcare facilities, offices, hospitality venues, educational institutions, municipal buildings, airports, warehouses, and data centers.
Who qualifies for RCx?
RCx services are offered to three eligible participant types who must have a non-residential building with at least one active NYSEG or RG&E account.
1. Industrial buildings with large chillers, boilers, and air handling equipment which operate for more than 1,800 hours annually. Additionally, facilities should have existing EMS/BMS/SCADA systems with data trending capabilities. Industrial customers must be willing to invest a minimum of $5,000 for identified projects.
2. Large commercial facilities > 100,000 ft2 of conditioned space and are equipped with BMS/EMS systems. Large commercial customers must be willing to invest a minimum of $5,000 for identified projects.
3. An Express Building Tune-up option is available to small commercial facilities < 100,000 ft2 of conditioned space. Express Building Tune-up customers are not required to invest in identified projects to participate.
